One of the Seven Wonders of north-central Idaho. Climbs the absolutely insane, completely detached column at Hells Gate. Rest assured as you delight in climbing that which should not reasonably exist, when this 6 ton behemoth collapses (next week? tomorrow? In 10 seconds?), the bolt line will still stand. Route directly climbs the main detached column past 5 bolts on the right. Move right after the fifth bolt to clip the last bolt and the top anchors. More fun than you can shake a stick at.

Devil's Jenga

Start to the left of the tree and detached column. Head up the space left by a missing column starting with pro in the narrowing crack behind the detached column on the right, then shift to small wires and cams in the left crack. Stem and step up to the undercling then move left. stoppers and cams up to 1". Doubles up to .25" are nice. Anchors with rings at the top.

Climbs three prominent columns right of a major groove. Sustained. Do whatever you can, crimp, pull, and slap any divot you can find, but in the end you're stuck with 3 little devils all the way to the top anchors!

Climb starts in crack to left below prominent widow-maker. Gear in crack protects climb to sloping ledge, then switch to bolts as crack disappears. Climbing is varied between stems and inset holds up groove below widow-maker, then sneaks left to top anchors.

Sport variation: Clip the first two bolts of A Match Made in Hell (5.10 moves)  and step left to clip the first bolt of Catchin' Hell.

Climbs back and forth in several crack systems on a prominent double-column. The right column is completely detached. Good pro, great climbing, but a fall on any of your gear will give you a split second to wonder if that detached column will stand or fall as you load it. You might just end up making a deal you'll regret.

A challenging route that toggles back and forth between powerful and balancy. It has a few specific sequences that seem to be required to get you through the cruxes, the 1st of which comes after clipping the 3rd bolt.

Catchin' Hell sport start variation: You can use the first 2 bolts of this route and then cut left to clip the 1st bolt of "Catchin' Hell" (bypassing Catchin' Hell's trad section).

Boulder start. Route stays right of bolt line. Climbing stays consistently interesting all the way up. High-step crux move towards top. Move left to anchors.

Climbs the obvious crack to the right of Devil's Jenga, then finishes on last 3 bolts of that route. Shares the same top anchor.

Climb the bolted route just to the left of Different Kind of Hell. Climbing is consistently delicate and balancy throughout the route with a powerful crux after clipping the 3rd bolt.

Trad start variation: Easy moves on gear in obvious crack to right of a pair of prominent columns gets you off the deck. Crack necks-down a third of the way up the route. Move right to clip the 3rd bolt and then encounter the crux. Delicate maneuvering from there gets you to the top. Gear to 2".

Originally climbed cracks on both sides of the prominent column to the right of top anchors. This column is quite solid under body weight, but it rotates slightly with a crowbar and could fail in a hard fall on a cam. To avoid having a hell of a bad day, put your gear into the next obvious crack located 2 columns to the right of this prominent column and diagonal left at the top to reach top to anchors.

A short but very fun route! Easy climbing to the 1st bolt. After the 2nd bolt stay left, choosing the right is very deceiving.

Sequence of high-steps up to 4th bolt, then move right through crux, a balancy sequence with delicate footwork. After 5th bolt, move well left  to clip the 6th bolt.

A game of skill, strategy, and balance. Try to keep a steady hand and don’t knock over the tower! Stand on a short pillar to clip the first bolt. When the climbing starts to blank out make your way over to the crack on the right, clip the 4th bolt, and mantle onto the top of the column. Then step up and out onto some tiny holds (with some exposure) to make the clip. After that it eases up a bit and it's fun climbing on up to to the anchors.
