Start near the left side of the small arch on two pinches and make it back to the same start! This problem is easier to do when the auto-belays have been taken down. Take a no-hands rest near the easy auto-belay halfway through and get ready to get low and make it under the arch to the finish.

Starting at the base of Saturday at the Shoe, climb straight up using only the natural features of the wall. Work your way up a series of ledges as efficiently as possible to save your energy for the crux, a strenuous layback move to reach good holds just below the anchors. This route felt about as hard as Towering Inferno.

The crack climb at the wall. The two cracks are a little uncommon because they flare out on the inside allowing for fist stacking and even full arm jams. Proving to be for fun experimentation as well as technical crack climbs. The crux is actually at the top just past the last bolt making it difficult to clip the top anchors without using the holds.

Climb 'all natural' (not using any attached holds) and without the door on the traverse. Start on the north/northeast side of the boulder (indicated with the start hold picture) on the undercling and the jug. Then, start the traverse around the corner. From the corner, stay low and continue traversing to the arch.  Climb the arch and down climb to the nice undercling rest. Then traverse under the arch and begin up the other side of the arch to the somewhat high finish. This climb takes some endurance!

 I'm just trying to give climbers some more difficult options at Scioto Audubon, because it can be hard to identify new lines. I am very new to developing/grading routes, so please comment your suggestions for difficulty because I could have completely missed the mark. 

 This is a really great longer project if you climb at scioto a lot!

This can be climbed on either top rope or auto belay. It is a great mix of mantel and stemming movements.

A nice mix of shelves and lay backs. Not sure about the crux but a slightly awkward start when staying on the main line. A fun variation is to run the arete to the right of the main line, which has a good mix of side pulls and slopers.

The crux is two thirds of the way up.  The main line runs up just to the left of the anchor.

This "all natural" (no plastic holds) problem starts on the back face of the bouldering arch.    Start/finish (see picture): Hands start on the torso-height ledge and left side-pull in a low crouch. Follow the edge of the arch up to the bomber finish hold about a foot above the arch's apex.

Using only the natural features of the wall, climb straight up on good holds until they run out, then traverse up and to the right on small sidepull crimps. A tricky move on poor feet guards the top. Avoid the arete to the left for the full experience

Starting directly underneath the arch, climb up and to the left over a small roof with poor feet, and then climb straight up the dark streak on the wall to the top. For full effect, use only the natural features of the wall and avoid using the bail ledge to the right near the top.NOTE: Due to the location of the anchors, be prepared to take a bit of a swing if you fall near the bottom of the route. This can be mitigated by placing a directional on the bolt hanger above the arch, but really the swing isn't too bad.

Using only a combination of side pulls on the arete and the crack, hug your way to the top. Feet are a mix of hooks, wedges and shelves on the natural features. Can get a bit more difficult near the top with the wide pulls.

All natural holds.  If you can do with holds you can do all natural.  Good mixture of side holds and some jugs.  The crux is the last 6 ft of the route with very crimpy small holds.  

Start on the boulder spire, on the obvious ledge where you climb up to set up ropes. Climb under the arch and work up the slight overhang to a top-out using only natural features. Crux for me was the transition from the arch to the face. Don’t have any grading experience so I‘d love to hear what others think, although I haven’t seen many others try this specific route.  

Start with both hands pinching hold at about chest height. Dyno the last 2 moves pushing off with your right foot on the initial pinch hold for the first Dyno.

The crux is at about the center of the route if stay on the center line. Its a great climb because its overlapped by one of the easiest climbs using holds. As a result you can keep a rope up for your friend who is new to climbing while allowing you to climb the more difficult natural climb.

Good mix of traversing and variety of holds. Can be completed by staying to the far left using the arete but uses more slopey shelves. Can get quite warm in the sun but a great climb none the less.

Use "natural" features only. The crux is the last move before the top. Top out to finish. It's definitely more friendly to lengthier folk. If you don't use the slopey jug rail on the right a few feet above the start holds it's a bit harder.

Natural features only. For the 5.10b grade, the route must be climbed without using the arête to the left or the crack to the right. Start on the face, left of the crack on the south end side of the wall. Work through the first couple of reachy holds to some thin leaning crimps. Pull through the crux about two thirds of the way up to a balanced finish at the anchors.

Starting at a big sidepull just to the right of the route used to access the top rope anchors, climb to the top using only the "natural" features of the rock. The only rule is that the large rubber-blackened ledges used on the easy route to the left are out of bounds, everything else is fair game.

This interesting route because the climb from the roof down is 2 solid grades more difficult than above the roof. The crux is passing the roof. There are two easier methods for climbing the route which are by shifting either to the right or left of the main line.

Long pumpy route over the large arch of the wall. Its a good climb for endurance but not too heavy on the technical climbing aspect. Primary done with holds but always interested to see if someone can complete it with just features/natural (it would definitely increase the difficulty without holds).

One of the most difficult climbs at the wall when only using the natural formation. The crux is definitely between bolt 3 and 4. Without giving too much beta the main lines run up the bolts as well as a full arm length to the right of the bolts. 

Synthetic climbing wall located near downtown Columbus put up in 2009. 

  Please help compile a list of routes using the naturals with approximate grades. Insight from those who played a part in constructing the wall would be greatly appreciated.
