Multi-stage adventure with four or five phases of different rock styles requiring different techniques. 

  Up the corner to get hands on horizontal crack. Traverse left to get hands on a rather wobbly rather large rock.    . . (Variation: Instead continue straight up to the top of the right-facing corner (5.11a).   Next over the bulge and right on slab up to small tree. Finish up steep face to top of cliff.

Fun moves, but rather short for a roped climb. 

  Up to under roof, traverse right to its end, then escape up over a rather wobbly rather large rock. Stop when get feet onto the top of that rock, then lower off. Or perhaps continue up right by joining the upper section of the route "Smoke em If You Got em" (but this is more difficult, and not well-protected on Top-Rope).

Interesting moves, but pretty short for a roped climb. 

  Work up through flakes and underclings up to positive horizontal hold about 15-18 feet up, then lower off. Or perhaps join one of the routes on either side to continue higher.

Thoughtful moves, with the crux handholds very abrasive. 

  Up the crack, and straight to the top. 

  The lower part is also done as a boulder problem, called "Army Intelligence".

The difficult section is some off-width moves in the wide crack high near the top. So if you actually like off-width technique, or feel like you need to practice it even if you don't like it, this climb is for you. 

  Work around left side to get up on top of rock over left end of the big low roof. Then up the wide crack to the top.

Top-Roping + Bouldering area on right (SE) side of the Yankee Ramparts East area. 

  Top-Rope: One way to get access to set up an anchor using trees or rocks above top of this cliff is to hike up dirt ramp around the left end, then scramble up (3rd class with at least on exposed move). Or see other ideas on the Alexander Hamilton sector page.
