Climb the splitter hand crack that has a ledge and a flake to the left that make for good handholds. There are some other hidden holds that make it much easier to climb than it looks.

Climb through 2 bolts to get into the crack in the open book, the large open dihedral of First Switchback area.

Pull the off-fingers overhanging bulge to enter the tight hands to hands crack in the left-facing dihedral. The bolted anchors are under the large roof above.

To get off the ground, climb the right-facing finger crack using your feet on the zig-zagging seam on the right wall. Soon, you will go through a juggy section that feels a little hollow, but climbs well. Then, back to the lay-backing crack up to a ledge with a bolted anchor.

Climb past a bolt to get into the finger crack that turns to hands higher up.

There is a thin finger crack going up a right facing corner to a V-slot. After, the crack turns to left-facing with big fingers and tight hands.

Climb the off-fingers crack up into the 3ft-wide chimney with 2 splitter cracks in the back. Climb these cracks to a ledge below the final off-width section to the anchors.
