Starts 10 feet left of Big Bull, same as Grid Locked, or just climb Big Bull to first ledge.  Route is 5.10 if you start on Big Bull.     Bust right through overhang and up face to second ledge.  Move right onto arete. Easier but airy moves lead to chains at top of arete.

Starts 10 feet left of Big Bull.     Step off left side of tower, crimp up face to ledge. Climb slightly left following bolts through two more steep crux bits to chains.

Contouring along the Lefthand Wall you will take a left up a scree gully.  Be careful here as it is alwasy loose and it is always possible to take a nasty ride down the scree likely injuirng oneself in the process.  GAC rulz is the middle route between Triangulate and Big Bull.  The route is vertical with the crux at a small roof aout mid way through.  This climb is  equally as fun as Big Bull.

Fun face climbing through 8 or 9 bolts before crack/chimney system that accepts gear.  Seems that most folks are mistaking this route for GAC Rulz and thus climbing rack-less. I've found a leave-it draw and biner on the uppermost bolt on 2 separate occasions w/in the last month (I too thought I was on a sport climb). A skeleton rack would get the would-be adventurer past the surprisingly solid crack before one could traverse left to Mom's Rock's anchors if s/he didn't have a hankering for chimneys. 

  Jim Scott and Eric-Fazio Rhicard added a direct start and a sport link-up to Family Affair in 2014.  This variation is airy and supposedly better than the original.  The variation is all sport and 10-.

Slab start. Continue up a finger crack and arete, cross over to the left face, go into a small dihedral, and exit to the right into the crux section. The crux is at bolt 8 - 9 (last two bolts). Route turns roof on the right.

Unique and interesting moves lead to fun climbing up past a roof and onto an arête.

This route can be done in one long pitch (130 feet)or two pitches. Both pitches are bolted. Start below a shallow left facing corner. 6 bolts to chains (Shared anchor of Bosch It). 

  Pitch two. Climb bolts up and over very exposed roof(10 bolts). You can rap the route with one rope but getting getting to the anchor at the top of the first pitch is somewhat difficult as the top pitch is overhanging.

Start in corner near right end of wall, just right of a large flake at the base of the cliff.  Climb thin moves 12' to lieback and difficult bulge protected by bolt.  Traverse left on ledge and climb bolts up to large flake.  Lieback flake for 15' and exit right to small ledge. 

  Easier climbing for 20 feet leads to more thin moves below two bolt anchor.  Fun and pumpy!

Big air and generally big holds up an overhanging arete and out a big roof.  Very cool.

Arguably the premier wall of the Hairpin Turn Area, the Backhand Wall features a number of lengthy vertical sport routes, most of which are in the 5.10-5.11 range.  There is also one mixed route Triangulate. 

  While these routes are well-bolted and mostly vertical, the rock is a bit chossy. As such the climber should move with awareness and helmets are recommended for belayers. 

  The Backhand Wall receives little to no sun, making it climbable on all but the coldest and hottest days.
