This obvious line in the center of the wall heads up the right-facing flake and traverses left across a hollow sounding flake and up to a ledge. It finishes up the second headwall and out the second roof.

Stick-clipping the first bolt is encouraged due to the height and the hollow-sounding hold prior to making the clip. Watch your back near the top as a fall could introduce you to the large pine tree.

Great climb! Climb obvious, marbled wall up a wavy seam / crack. Pull up to 1st of 5 bolts. Trend right passing 2nd bolt. Establish at base of swirled wall (3rd bolt) and chase 3 more bolts up sidepulls and deadpoints. Careful attention to feet will increase your enjoyment!

This route is basically a crimp ladder.  Start with some interesting pulls down low on dubious-looking but seemingly good rock and turn the corner onto the face at the 3rd bolt.  Small and sharp crimps lead through the last bolt to a throw to the sloping ledge.

'Thuggish' about sums it up: big holds, some widely spaced, on steep rock.  This is a really fun line just right of the namesake corner of 'Outrageous Overhang' (5.9) and left of

Boys In The Hood

.  Supplementary gear will keep you happy down low, although I think we did without.  This is recommended for sure.

My notes on Boys In The Hood are from 1998, and were squared up with the old Perkins guide, so I hope this is on target.

Hump around the right side of the cliff to the cut-back left. Boys is the fifth or sixth route in from the right and is just left of the pin route. Boys gives powerful, well protected climbing up a steep wall that gets progressively more run-out as you approach the anchor. My notes indicated that some upper body guns are useful (!).

Cool route; it is the easiest thing on this side of the wall.
