Start in a layback and do a few moves until you get on a ramp that heads left. Walk the ramp up to the black streak on the headwall and pull about 10ft of good climbing. For some reason the anchors are way back on the slab up top.... scramble up to find them.

This is the third bolt line on the west face of Boy Scout Wall, just right of the wide crack.  Start up a small headwall, passing a slanting ledge.  Continue on good plates to the top.  Like its neighbors to the left, Truculence eases off the higher one gets.  There are several possible variations to the climb but all about the same in difficulty.  Rappel to descend.

Two crux sections of this route starting with the boulder start up large hueco with second crux midway as you ascend a bulge section.

Follow bolt line crossing over two other formation/sections of rock to what appears to be a new shut anchor which does not appear in book.  Possibly two exits?

This takes a line up past 9 bolts, several feet right of Jack Be Nimble. It heads up on the right side of a shallow scoop, passes a shallow right facing corner, then straight up. Fun climbing up lots of holds.

An interesting move in the beginning gets you past the flat marble overhang. The long middle section is fairly moderate, but perhaps the psychological crux due to a few oddly placed bolts. The last bulge has an airy move that is well protected giving you access to the anchor.

The crux right off the deck at a hueco and is well protected by the first bolt. The moves to get past this hueco (for me) were pretty dynamic and bouldery. Just go for it, it is well protected. Everything above the hueco is moderate in comparison.

This climb is a few feet right of There Goes the Neighborhood and climbs past horizontals, then along a crack, passing four bolts to a two-bolt anchor.

Beautiful line up clean face - lots of features making this route excellent for the beginner .9 climber.  Plenty of bolt protection and every hold is positive!

This route is the farthest bolted line on the right side of the north face of Boy Scout Wall, just before one enters the corridor around to the left.  Start up an easy but unprotected 4th class slab for about 25.  From the top of the slab, climb edges on vertical rock passing four bolts.  The climbing on this route is similar to all the other moderates on this wall.  Although the slab portion is fun due to the lack of protection, its too bad that the real climbing on this one is so short.  Rappel to descend.

This climb is just to the right of Sam I Am.  It climbs up a large brown patina and across a low-angle mid-section to a horizontal.  From there, straight up the headwall to a two bolt rap anchor on another low-angle slab.  While the movement on this route shares much in common with the other lines on this wall, it is one of the most sustained of the moderates and true to the grade.  The crux, at the fourth bolt, is perhaps as hard as 5.8.

Great route with neat entry moves.  Starts up incipient finger crack then fun featured moves up bolt line to chain anchor.

Watch lowering of cord from anchor and or pulling rope after route as it has potential to get stuck in crack to left.

This route was a bit difficult to locate.  When counting from left to right from mid-crag pinnacle it is the 3rd route (at time of this post).  Unfortunately there is a loner bolt between Cool Enough & Jack Be Nimble that makes you think that is the start.  It is not.

When looking for the start identify the first bolt as being to the right of a shallow left leaning seam.  The bolt that is to the left of the seam appears to be an orphan.

Short (real short!), good for a begining leader or those wishing to do EASY stuff...

This is the first route on the West side of the rock, I think. The Mayr guide is confusing.

It's a fun, easy route and the 5.8 rating is really generous, I think it's more like 5.6. climb past three bolts, then up and right past another bolt to a two-bolt anchor.

This route is located in a small canyon behind the Boy Scout Wall. It starts on big holds on steep rock and moves into a thin slabby finish.

Good rock and nice climbing. A better and slightly harder route than Pussy Pie just to the left.

AKA "Venus Envy"

Getting off the deck is probably the crux of this route and requires technical climbing to gain elevation beyond the first bolt.  The route eases after the 3rd bolt and provides enjoyable climbing to summit. Ledge for clipping chain anchors.
