After Hours

This is the highest route that you can reach on the base at The Distillery  Wall without moving up the 3rd class hillside.  Look for three closely placed bolts on a vertical face that tops out onto a small ramp that starts at ground level on the right side of a dirt patch in the middle of The Distillery Wall.

Climb the first 3 bolts, being really careful with the second bolt if you're not over 6', or move past to the jug before clipping.  Top out on the ramp, move up through some vertical climbing, and then plow into roughly 70' of sustained crimpy, pumpy, almost footless, slightly overhung, awesome climbing.

Make sure you have someone follow you on a 60M or longer rope, as the route is about 105' long.  Cleaning is a bitch otherwise due to the route moving to the left near the top and its length.

Bar Fly is located around the arete, left of the ramp on which 'Five Nine' ascends near the center of the Distillery Wall.

Bar Fly's first bolt is within reach off the deck because the first move is one of the toughest: moving onto the slab with miniscule holds.  After the second bolt, Bar Fly continues up about 60 feet of vertical climbing with nothing but fun moves.  After the vertical section, the climbing eases for the final two bolts.

Located on the left side of the right-facing ramp on Distillery Wall, Five Nine is the best warm-up the wall has to offer.  Climb up and left, bypassing the overhanging section, then up the arete to the finish.

The rightmost route on the Distillery Wall, this route and the route After Hours (.12a) are set apart from the rest of the Distillery Wall by the large slab with the route Five Nine (5.9+) on it.

Climb the first 3 bolts that are shared between the two routes for a crux just below the third bolt.  Watch the second clip as well, as a missed clip on small hands will toss you onto the slab below.

After the third bolt, this climb splits from After Hours and heads straight up, while After Hours continues along the overhang just above the slab.

Climbing after the fourth bolt is fun and relatively easy, but the temptation to cheat around the corner is often too great.

The second furthest climb to the left on Distillery Wall, Moonshine is a long, sustained, single-pitch, vertical face climb.  To reach the start of the climb, you actually have to walk up the steep 3rd class slot canyon.
