Climb steep plates past four bolts up and right to a bolted anchor/rap underneath the large roof. Near the top, as the angle lessens the bolts become more spaced. Not terribly runout, but it will probably keep you on your toes.

A fun climb that is fairly well bolted on steeper than usual rock and worth doing if nearby. The climb next to this (Slam Dance, 5.10c) is also worth doing.

Fun and challenging face climbing protected by bolts.

Quoted from Randys guidebook......"This is a three-bolt face route up solution pockets about 100 feet right of Slam Dance." There are three bolts that are fine as they are. But above the third bolt is an obvious crack that would love to accept a #3 Camalot or it's equivalent (Too bad I did not have one with me on the climb!!!)

Located on the smooth and attractive face just to the right of

Bird of Fire

.

Easy climbing down low leads to a sustained and technical sequence of moves starting about two-thirds of the way up the face.

Originally one of several bolt ladders on this face, it was later rebolted and led; even later the majority of bolts were removed making it a toprope for most. Two stars out of five.

Climb the rounded arete right of Bee Gees, joining that route for it's last bolt and anchors. A fun moderate route to do when in the area that is well-protected and offers a variety of steep, balancy moves.

This route climbs the water groove 25 feet right of The Raven. Follow the groove up, past the anchors for The Raven, and into a corridor on top of the formation. To descend, scramble left to the top of Bird Of Fire.

Climb up past 2 bolts, clip a third bolt and then head right towards the edge of the block clipping a final bolt before the top. A bolted anchor is on top for a belay. To descend either walk along the top to rap bolts atop Bird of Fire or make a long roundabout walk-off the back of the wall.

Although not as good as some of the neighboring routes it does has some fun moves and provides additional mileage when in the area.

Start as for Young Guns clipping the first 3 bolts and then head out right to finish on the crux of Bird of Fire.  Very good slab moves with some space between the bolts.

Climb the crack/chimney 20-feet or so right of the Raven. Ends at the Raven's anchor.

Starts off the 6-7' boulder to a left leaning crack, continue trending left via the path of least resistance up unprotected face/scoops and join the top of the Crow to reach the anchor bolts of the Raven.

A fairly fun route that is worth doing; this climb originally had 3 bolts but was, in a rare move, retrobolted by the first ascent party to make it more accessible to climbers at this grade.

This straight-in crack provides good crack practice or a nice first lead on good albeit rough rock - remember Jumbo Rocks isn't far away!

This is one sweet climb, easy but more worthwhile than some other nearby routes that are much harder; it also works as a good downclimb.

Finger crack to unprotected face 12-feet right of the Raven, joins the Raven at the very end, or could traverse in earlier but for kicks try to stay independent as long as possible.  Top rope off the Raven anchor. If there's a previous name let me know.

Bolted route from the boulders below Isle in the Sky up to the ledge. Directly below Dead Bees. 6 bolts with no anchor.

YOU MUST BRING EQUIPMENT FOR MAKING AN ANCHOR IF YOU DON'T WANT TO LEAVE YOUR PARTNER AT THE BASE.

There are two good rocks up on the ledge that make for good anchors. I used 4 120cm Nylon Runners and two locking 'biners. There is a rappel station 50 yards to the right on the ledge.

This well protected sport climb that traverses left along a solid white dike is at the northwest base of the Isles in the Sky formation. Powerful lockoffs and technical footwork are essential for the duration of this very engaging climb that is only about 30' long.

The grade may be soft relative to other 5.12b climbs at J-Tree.

A bolt line located left of Bird of Fire. Intricate 5.10 face climbing leads to a headwall where very steep moves provide the crux.

Traversing right and into Bird of Fire reduces the grade to 5.10 - it's a good route though.

Climb the stellar finger-small hands crack to the slightly bulging finish. Nice ledge just below the final 8 feet or so to rest on and get psyched out. You can see the big chalk mark from the ground. Throw in some good pro here and fire it up.

There is a 2 bolt anchor/rap (3/8") located just right of the top of this climb. Rap back to base w/one rope (70').

, and passes along the left side of a prominent roof midway up the face. Easily toproped from anchors atop the other routes here. Two stars out of five.

This is the first crack system to the right of Bird Of Fire.  It curves left and then straightens.  Most of the climbing is fist jamming, deep in the crack.

Don't be fooled!  While only 5.7, Dolphin is a "classic" grovel/grunt (if you're into that sort of thing).  As one ascends, the crack widens.  Towards the top, scoot your #5 Camalot up in between mandatory cursing.

To descend, either rap Bird of Fire or walk/downclimb via 4th class ramp to the south (climber's left).

Start in a short crack which leads past a pin and upward onto the face above past three bolts ending on the ledge with Dead Bees.

Share anchors with that route and either rap off via bolts 20 feet right of Bird of Fire or do any of several down climbs available nearby.

Fun moves and good protection are in it's favor, but the large-grained rock detracts somewhat. One star out of five.

(5.9), climb past three bolts up and over a steep bulge on good holds to a shared anchor/rap with that route.

This is a very atypical route as it climb steep rock on positive holds...not your typical grainy slab. This alone is reason to give this climb a go. As a bonus this and the neighboring route are seldom done so expect the wall to yourself.
