This problem starts on the same holds as

Tofurkey

, but instead of staying low and using the sloper and the arete, it utilizes the holds directly above it and finishes on the same jugs as

Tofurkey

.

This problem was added because this variation is completely different in style and quality compared to the original line (in my opinion).

Veggie Burger Arete

This is #2 in the topo photo.

Sit start the arete with a LH undercling/sidepull and a RH crimp. Climb the arete.

Stand start, and climb the oddly angled slots without dabbing to the left. It is interesting but a little painful.

Start with a left hand on an sidepull and a right hand on a sloping rail. Traverse left, and don't let the arete throw you off. Top out on jugs. This is a bit harder if you are shorter.

Start on fingerlocks, and move up on handjams. This can also be done without jamming. It is a better problem if you are only using the crack, but that's because I like crack....

The route starts from a standing start with a left hand on the arete, a right hand on a thin crimp, and a good left foot. Work your way up to a strong left hand on the arete and a good multi-finger pocket for the right hand. From here, smear your feet, and get to the lip. From the lip, pull up, get into the deep crack on top, and finish it up.

The most difficult part of the problem is likely to avoid the boulder just off to the left of the problem. It definitely can get in the way a bit at first.

This route is being added so that it can be enjoyed all in its own. It has most certainly been enjoyed for years, and if anyone knows the original FA or what the most accepted name is, let me know, and I'll update it.
