Starts on the low angle slabs.  350 feet of .7/8 slab climbing will get you to the vegetated ledge below the “thumb”. Climb the thumb and find the two piton anchor and get up there!

Original route

Biggest formation seen from the End of the Road in West Cochise.Roughly the size of the sheepshead, this dome has a lot to offer for those looking to expand their views and routes in the Stronghold. Climbed in the 60s or 70s by old skool climbers ( unknown). The original route goes up the middle of the formation and to the vegetated ledges and up the “Thumb” where a Two Piton anchor can be found. This is a great route to go and explore as well and it goes at around .10.
