A reachy start on big holds leads to a tricky crux between the second and third bolts. Above the third bolt, the route follows an easier (but very fun) arête past two more bolts to the anchors. Cool and thoughtful moves up excellent rock.

Baffling, bouldery start over a steep bulge leads to easier face climbing on decent rock. An okay route if you're running out of other 5.11 leads, otherwise give it a miss.

Mono with some other pockets and then the crux.

A beautiful and fairly sustained line on solid, pale-colored stone in the center of the cliff. Bouldery moves off the deck and a throw to a good shelf are followed by awesome long pulls between positive pockets and edges. Highly recommended.

Hardest Route at The Pit.  Overhanging arete 5th route from the left.

Deceptively good holds at the bottom hide a reachy crux undercling move and a technical sequence onto the slab. Runout but easier climbing above reaches the same anchors as About Face.

When you really want to squeeze in one more route down here on the left side, trying climbing the line between Sex is Violence and Strong Girl.  More fun and less contrived then one might expect.

This recently retro bolted route was first ascended by Melissa Wruck BITD and then chopped because another climber wanted to use the hangers. Thin moves past the first two bolts leads to bigger moves to buckets and jugs for the finish.There is another TR to the right called Wild, Wild West. 

6th route from the left. Tuff start and some thin holds.

Awesome moves right off the start to easier climbing up top with a sweet mantle finish.  Flail like a whale!

Just past Hookin Red Nectar,  big long moves off the start to balancey power moves.  Fun climbing but not sure if its "13c" as I've heard some people call it.

Cruxy pocket moves get you off the ground and past the first bolt, then big holds lead through a slabby section and over the upper bulge. A worthy moderate lead, though short.

Crank on small holds to a break (crux), then make easier moves on good pockets and jugs to a mantel/beached whale move at the top. The powerful direct start feels out of character with the rest of the route, and can be avoided by starting to the left and traversing out along the break (this drops the overall grade to mid-5.10.)

boulder problem start, move past 4 bolts and chains anchor. Led routes with hooks & little blue aliens, fun route.  Built it for Maria, when she gets older.

Powerful yet technical moves up the arete, one of the coolest routes at the Pit and one of the gems of the far left side!

Nose Rock is the farthest left (west) developed cliff at The Pit. Most of the routes here are fairly short, but the rock is high quality with lots of great edges and pockets. Quality climbing with a wide range of difficulty.
