Originally intended as just an approach pitch to the massive 40’ Gargoyle roof, this route ended up being quite a quality climb in it’s own. A line of nine black bolts lead up the edifice to a balcony ledge at the foot of the Gargoyle. The 5.7 slab gradually steepens to an imposing headwall with eerie stemming up the façade. The holds appear to disappear at a vaulted ceiling and just one 5.10a move leads to the anchors. At the ledge, retreat from the underbelly of the Gargoyle, leaving directionals for anyone top roping.

Probably the mossiest route I've ever been on.  Will be fun once it cleans up.  Seriously, bring a brush if you get on this thing.

Short, steep, bouldery, but fun route on the far right side of the north face of the Gargoyle.  A couple of long reaches between big holds.

Short but good route on surprisingly solid rock. Climbs the shallow dihedral to the left of "Miller Lite". Lots of stemming and holds that are better than they look.

Hands and fingers in a flake/corner system.  Move left about 2/3 of the way up (somewhat runout) to another corner system.  Finish with some funky/fiddly gear.  Think this route is called "Bat Crack" in the book.

Who says easy aid can't be fun?? Climb Gothic Edifice, skip the anchor, and keep trucking towards the massive 40' roof. The roof is blanker than blank, minus a fun aid/bolt ladder. Bring a few small nuts for the hangerless bolts near the end. The roof really is massive, much bigger than it looks from the ground, and most will likely find the exposure quite awakening! The route climbs out the farthest tip of the roof where the view is incredible!!

So named because it wasn't quite a strike.  Follow bolts on a blocky arete to a stemming dihedral.  Gear for the last 1/3 of the route after leaving the dihedral.  Will be a nice moderate once it gets more traffic and cleans up.
