Eagles Peak

A series of progressively harder seams/face climbs on this rounded boulder.  Landings are not the greatest.  Right to left, .9 .11- and .11+

This the obvious radically overhanging offhands crack to the left of the route Eagles Peak.  Use the holes in the face to reach up to a small shelf, then dyno your right hand into the crack and get moving.  A few more hard moves gains the top.  Recommended.

Upon entering the collection of rocks (Eagle's Peak Area) at the top of the trail, head left and around the corner to gaze upon this steep, slightly overhanging hand crack.  Great moves, another recommended Dixon route.

Ascend positive holds to a mid-height crux.  Fun

Boulder problem left of MTV.  Never had a name until now.  Top out mantle is the crux if I remember right.

.  It faces the valley below, and once on the route, a bit of exposure comes into play.  Can be started by stepping off of the ledge or directly from a few feet lower.

This is right and around the corner to the  traditional start to Eagle's Peak.  Ascend a boulder problem of sorts before joining Eagle's Peak at the stand-up shelf.  Taking the crack to the right (see picture) is 5.9- .

This climbs the obvious roof section below the sitting area of Overhanging Crack.  More challenging than it looks.

This boulder is encountered along the trail inbetween the Prowe Area and the Eagles Peak area.  It is a right slanting handcrack that utilizes features on the face to make it go easier.  Along its base one can do traverse from the crack skirting around right.

This boulder problem starts out in a pit at the base of two formations.  It is easily escapable by stepping back to the rock behind.  Crux is a two finger pocket with the left hand and reaching over the bulge to a good, albiet a little sharp handhold.    The name stems from the moves that mimic John Travolta's pose on the Saturday Night Live picture.  Hence the name, the John Travolta Memorial Boulder Problem

I felt the crux was just getting onto the face/bowls. Start with the big undercling and a left foot drop knee to gain a key left hold, then it is straight up. Halfway up after a great side pull, look around for a great jug.

This is a technical face climb, that has a very tricky entry move, that without knowing it, makes this route 5.12.  Think

Stem Gem

.  From there, face climb left over the undercling with a few more very balancy moves to the top.  Faces due west.  Highly Recommended

The namesake route of the area, this moderate ascends a nice hand crack in a corner to gain an airy and exposed stance.  A few slippery face moves (crux) to the top finish it off.  Highly Recommended.
