This is a fun and varied face climb, with one short, steep, strenuous crux down low; some easy, exposed mantles higher; and then a balancy move over an overhang (second crux) onto a large traverse dike.  It is in a shady location. There is good protection on the hard moves, but some long runouts on easy ground.

The route goes up the steep face just left of Beadwagon.

This bolted face route, immediately right of Finger Food, is continuously difficult, tenuous, and interesting climbing for the first 30' after which it eases a bit to more straightforward JT slab work. Stem, palm, crimp and smear your way up the shallow corner until it disappears and a decent face hold and crimpy dike appear. Engineer a sequence to mount these and you can finally rest and compose yourself for the upper half of the pitch.

I don't think anyone has done this for quite some time.  An oak tree branch has taken over the start and all the bolts appear to be old (they have Leeper hangers but I can't tell what size the bolts are).

Down and right from the finish of Bambi Meets Godzilla is a hidden corridor which is passed through as part of the descent for that route.

This obscure line escaped publication in the Older Vogel books and we found details in the rockshop in the notebook.  The rock is generally imperfect as it has not had much traffic, but is only a little scaley until you get up top to a few crumbles. No big looseys.

This route is on the NE face of Echo Rock and approximately in the middle. It's an obvious, slightly s-curving crack that is quite long. The route begins behind a pine tree. It's rated 5.8, but my partner and I felt the upper portion of the crack was 5.9.

This climb has a fun roof and thin face above.  It is loose near the start.

This route is primarily a face climb, although you wouldn't guess this from the ground.  Start up the south buttress of Echo Rock.  Instead of going up the prow as for T.S. Special, move right and around the corner, following a low angle dihedral.  The dihedral soon becomes an ominous looking bombay chimney.  At this point, move right and belay.  Then climb up past three bolts (crux) and then continue up a corner to the top.

Begin in the crack system about 40 feet left of Frumunda Cheese and about 40 feet right of Closed on Monday.

Pitch 1: Climb the right of two cracks (5.10-) moving left to a belay ledge.

Pitch 2: Traverse back right, climb the right side of a block (5.10a), and continue up a flared crack through a bulge (5.9). Move up and left and climb a steepening slab past two bolts (5.10c above the first bolt and 5.10d above the second bolt) up to a big ledge (2 to 3-inch gear anchor). Scramble off to the right.

Around on the East side of Echo Rock, down low, is a straight, thin, attractive crack. It's real short. This is Finger Food.Vogel's guide says 10a, but really more like 5.8.You can scramble off the back.

This route climbs past two bolts along a left-slanting dike system on the left (west) wall of the corridor. Gear belay and easy walk off.
