Start out with a sit start on the NW arete of the Dead Animal boulder. Climb up then traverse right across the wide, blank face with bad feet and a few small, sharp crimps. Finnish with Ron's Pharmacy.

On the south face of the boulder is a horizontal hand crack in an awkward flare. The Dead Animal traverses this crack from right to left, using hand and finger jams, as the ground drops away below you. After about ten feet of this you reach a scoop and can mantle up into it. The crack can be dirty, there is a bad landing, and the climbing is strenuous, awkward, and inobvious. It's anti-classic!

The north face of this boulder has a delicate slab traverse which can be done left to right or right to left at equal difficulty. Good techinical edging and smearing.

Climbs the center of the blank N face of the boulder. Friction is very dependent on conditions

Hard cranking off the ground with a decent right hand crimp and bad feet.  Climb straight up through the bulge with better hands and feet the higher you get.  An eliminate top-out stays slightly left avoiding using the crack at the top.
