This climbs the right bolt line on the far west end of the North face of the Cathedral.  Did you get all of that?  It climbs a horizontally cracked face with small but juggy overhangs.

This is the West most route on the North face of the Cathedral.  Again horizontally cracked steep but juggy climbing.  I felt it was as hard as Nuptial Vow, next door.

Aftershock

starts out casual, climbing a steep, blocky ramp. Encounter a ledge and find some protection. Prepare yourself here for the next series of very committing moves. -Turning back will be difficult- Proceed with caution up and right through flakes and crimps, moving and stemming carefully through the crux. Stay tight and watch those feet; clip a piton and jam to more secure ground. Follow the crack around the face and locate the anchors.

Aftershock

originally had a bolt to protect the crux. It appears and disappears leaving holes and bolt sleeves. With help from MW of the ASCA, we patched this hole in Aug 08. The crux was found to be adequately protected without the bolt.

Left slanting crack left of Celestial Ascension. There is a devilish tree in front of the route. Deceptively difficult.

Fun route that initially wanders a bit right of the bolt line. Cool horizontal features typical of Ferguson's.

Climb bouldery moves up to the large hanging block, the "swamp cooler".  Clip a bolt and more strenuous moves lead to another bolt.  Easier but heads up climbing leads up and left from there to a double bolt anchor.  Bring a selection of gear for the upper part.  (Shares the same anchors as the Oracle)

Diagonal up and right. The first bolt comes and goes. Not sure why. A .5 tcu fixes that problem, or just boulder up to the next bolt. Steep climbing heads up through overlaps and cracks to a two-bolt anchor. 60m rope gets you up and down.

At least two people have confused this route for Son of Slab.  This is a bolted line up nice rock marked by several flat landing areas, just off the trail when you arrive at the Cathedral.  The start can be done straight up the bolt line at around 11b, or you can skip the crux by climbing in from the right.  After the initial steepness and a nice flat ledge, there's one more little burst of difficulty followed by mellow, low angled knob climbing to the chains.  I enjoyed this route and am happy to add FA data!

This climbs the right-facing large crack, just right of the 2 bolted lines on the west end of the wall.  Steep hand and fist crack.  With a good fist jam to pop the crux.  Nice climb.

Strenuous moves in a dihedral lead to a knifeblade in a horizontal.  Another big move leads to good cracks above.  Where the crack kind of runs out, continue straight up the face past gear placements in horizontals.  A final mantle onto a slab and a good horizontal crack to set up a gear belay.

To descend, and easy scramble right (about 5.4) from the natural anchor will lead you to a set of chains on top of Celestial Ascension.  Rappel from there.

This is a short route with some fun moves.  It is the first route on the cathedral's west face.  It's also starts right off the main hiking trail.  The start of the climb is probably the crux, climbing into the dihedral.  Bring long slings to extend the chains at the top over the boulder if you are setting up a top rope.

Tricky crux start protected by wireds or small TCUs.

Climb the roof protected by a bolt and some pretty burly moves.  Bring some small to medium cams for above the roof.  The rock is dirty and dusty above the roof.  Climb up and left to easier ground.  I belayed and rappelled from the large tree which grows from the canyon floor and is close to the wall directly above this route.
