Anyone that frequents Big Rock has likely walked right past this crack a million times and either ignored it or wondered what must be under its jungle of vines and briars. It took two days of excavating and gardening to clean, but here it is... a stellar new addition to Big Rock’s collection of classics. 

The crux gets on you fast and sustains for two or three moves. Getting into the crack is the business. Once there, find a few hand jams and work on your crack technique to get to easier ground. Gear is a bit tricky down low (depending on your stance, you may have a blind placement or two), but good. Singles of .3 through 2 sow it up. Rap/lower or choose the safe and easy walk-off. 

 Bring your nut tool and help us continue to clean it out. With additional cleaning and a season of rain, this crack should only get better (and perhaps, a bit easier). Enjoy!

Balance up the thin slabby apron to a flakey sidepull that will fit a small/medium cam. Pull the bulge above and then crank and cruise a vein or two of quartz crystals to a set of top anchors above.

Featured steep slab climbing up a rail like feature, leads to a few balancy moves then a bit a cruxy section to gain easier ground.  Finished at shared anchor at the top.

More fun than being eaten by a T-Rex.  Does it eat gear?  Not really.  Stand at the bottom and wonder if you're about to free solo this slab.  Start as per Tree Willy, but move right after the second bolt.  Alternatively, scurry in from the right side uphill.  Stay right on the buttress and you'll find unexpected slots, if you pay close attention.  Slither your way under the tree.  A #1, slings, and a clawful of small gear in sketchy placements will get you there.  After the 5.10 start, it's all mental crux.

Smear and edge your way to stance in a concave scoop. Continue up edges and smear past a few more bolts before finishing at the shared anchors at the top.

This all bolted line has consistently interesting slab/face climbing. I recommend stick clipping the first bolt. Thanks to Eddy Grant for the song that inspired the route name. It's my first FA since being injured by a lightning strike in CO this summer, so the name seemed appropriate :)

Climbing up and out of the chimney feature in the middle of the Arch Wall - right of Underdog, etc and left of Triple F - exit right using an undercling feature.  Continue to top.

Begin on a steeper section of black slab right of the fixed rope. Crimp some small crystals and knobs using precision footwork to reach the water groove. Cruise up the groove to the top anchors on Electric Avenue.

Infectiously fun slabbing!  Attack the positive features adjacent a thin quartzite band (longer/harder/more fun) or start on the right-angling crack (easier/shorter/trad).  Join Dig Dug's bolt line and finish at the rap rings.

Start under the groove on a thin overlapping hold. Follow the groove up to the notch and step left. Follow the slab up past a few interesting holds to the anchor.

This is a fun line that is worth doing if you're at the Arch Wall area and enjoy slab.

 Climb the bouldery start to a good stance. Note: There is a low bolt that keeps you from tumbling down the gully should you blow the start, but clip it short and have a tight belay here. Continue up the slab to a bowl/stance up and slightly right. From here there are two ways to climb the face above: 1) Harder way is left of bolt line on thin edges 2) Right of bolt line on  well-spaced bigger holds (probably needs cleaning). Lower from anchors at ` 50'.

Start on a bit of a small flake like feature, stand up.  Bring your toes of steel and slab your way up subtle dishes and crimps around the rounded arete.  Continue up easier terrain to shared anchors.

Squeeze yourself into the left-leaning chimney, but don't get suckered in too deep.  Butt scoot and worm your way up about 25 feet to a decent hold where you can flip to face climbing below the first bolt (it is possible to clip the fist bolt on the 5.12 face before this with a little reach).  Like any good chimney it's a little dirty, a little thrutchy, and a lot of fun. Depending on your climbing style this might be the crux.  From there, make a few exposed moves through the face crux to a couple of fantastic jugs.  Fun face climbing up to the chains.

Start at the short finger crack splitting the buttress.  Follow the bolt line up the middle of the rock through fun face features, getting more slabby as you go. The crux is the first 20 feet or so and might make you think.

Fun, hard, and sequence-dependent moves on mostly positive or in-cut ledges ranging from razor-thin to two pads thick.  Start below the overhanging ledge and the lip bolt.  Struggle your way onto the face using the least positive holds on the route.  Follow the obvious ledges through vertical and overhanging rock.  Things get tricky and powerful in the middle.  A little searching and faith will get you over the top.  A standout style for Big Rock.  Generously bolted to limit your whips.  A 60 meter rope works well, but knot your ends.

The crux is getting off the ground. Clip the bolt before committing into the first moves so you don't take a ride down the hill. Position your belayer down the hill and out of the way. Start paddling up the very thin slab. More thin climbing and well-spaced bolts lead you to the shared anchor.

The Arch Wall has a couple of classic friction climbs and one crack in the 9/10a range. The other routes are not as high quality, but can easily be TR'ed. Up the hill from the right side of the Arch Wall is the Toilet Bowl.
