Pass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the Lower Satellites. Instead of going left up the trail next to the huge wall known as The Wave, go up the right fork of the trail to the base of The Second Flatiron.

The Collective Direct ascends the middle of the vertical north face from a lower start than The Collective. Start at the base - almost in a bush - where a couple small boulders stick out of the ground. Begin by using a sharp 4-finger edge with either your left or right hand, high-step and move up to the sloping ledge that sort of "collects you" no matter what holds or sequence you use. From there, go for the top and pull over.

Pass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the Lower Satellites. When you get to the fork, instead of going left up the climbers trail next to the huge wall known as The Wave, go up the right fork of the trail to the base of The Second Flatiron.

Go left up a steep trail parallelling the Second Flatiron and this problem is on the east face of the very next boulder and starts right off the trail. Start at head height between two streams of moss clods using two crimpers, reach high for the lip and pull over.

Only worth bothering with if your like me and you go up to the Satellites and try and do 50 problems in a 3 hours.

After 30 feet a small (maybe 8 feet high) pinnacle emerges from the ground on the left side of the trail.

From a sds in the middle of the trail, begin from a bearhug position. Pull around to the right to big edges and climb to the top. This is cool but way too short.

Go left up a steep social trail parallelling the Second Flatiron and this problem is on the rounded northwest corner of the very next boulder completely out of view (and just a few feet from the base of the Second Flatiron).

Begin from a sds and climb the face up to the top. For those who care, the stand start is approximately V3.

Nanoprobe climbs the overhanging northeast corner and requires a dynamic move off two small opposing slimper pinches into a shallow 2- or 3-finger pocket depending on the size of your fingers. From there, slap for the top and pull over on a thank god bucket. Pure and brilliant, although maybe I'm slightly biased =).

After 30 feet a small (maybe 8 feet high) pinnacle emerges from the ground on the left side of the trail.

From a sds in the middle of the trail, begin from a bearhug position. Force yourself to work up small sharp crimps to the left, rather than pulling around the corner and climbing Blastoff Right on much bigger holds. Way harder than it looks, tweaky and not very fun.

After about 100 feet, a small boulder on your right will have a small west-overhang. Imagine footholds as you traverse up and right to the apex of the boulder and pull over.

Pass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the Lower Satellites. Instead of going left up the trail next to the huge wall known as The Wave, turn up the right fork of the trail.

After about 100 feet, a small boulder on your right will have a small west-overhang. Walk around to an alcove on the north side of the boulder. Begin One Small Step from a sds, move past several small crimps and do a high-step to surmount the bulge up onto the slab.

Like the other problems on this boulder, prior to my efforts ... this problem was completely covered in lichen and other debris.

Go left up a steep trail parallelling the Second Flatiron and this problem is on the southeast corner of the very next boulder and starts right off the trail. Start at shoulder height on two perfect slopers, do a couple fingery moves up to better holds and pull over.

Its a fairly short problem and the first move is the only hard one for the grade, so I can't warrant giving it more stars ... nevertheless it is fun.

An obvious line that was completely covered with lichen and had several holds that broke easily the first time I got on it. Maybe someone climbed it before me, but they made no effort to clean or actually use any of the holds.

Trial By Fire begins left of the obvious and unclimbed dihedral from a sds on the strange flake, does some big moves out the 20 degree overhang to incut edges behind other flakes flakes and to ok edges at the lip. The topout is a cruxy challenge with not many choices for the hands. You will probably end up manteling one way or another to pull over the top. Somewhere between V5 and V6. Pass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the Lower Satellites and the Third Flatiron. After an S-turn in the trail, you will come to a fork. At the fork in the trail, instead of going left up the trail next to the huge wall known as The Wave, turn right like you are going to the base of The Second Flatiron.

On your left next to the trail after about 20 feet is a short, north-facing and obvious hand traverse (Mission Control) that arches up and left to the corner and up. Around the corner to the left, the boulder is dramatically undercut with about 8 feet of face climbing to the top.

Spaceman Spiff begins from a sit start with both hands on a huge shelf under the undercut. Use miniscule crimps, shallow pockets and a heel-hook/scum to pull out onto the face, then get your feet underneath you and go to the top.

Pass the Sputnik Boulder like you are going up to the Lower Satellites. Instead of going left up the trail next to the huge wall known as The Wave, turn up the right fork of the trail like you are going to the base of The Second Flatiron.

On your left after about 30 feet, just before the Blastoff Boulder, is a short north-facing overhang with an obvious hand traverse that arches up and left. As obvious as the line is, the whole wall covered in dead tree limbs and infested with dead brown lichen when I first started trying to see if there were any holds underneath the debris.

Mission Control begins low on the far right, right next to the Blastoff Boulder. Hand traverse up and left 10-plus feet to the corner and pull over onto the top. Vary the difficulty by either using heel-hooks the whole way (V1) or not at all (V3). Enjoy.
