A very enjoyable route with crux delicate face moves. It faces northwest, so it's in the shade until late afternoon.

This climb ascends an attractive dihedral high on the north end of the Arid Piles. Difficult face climbing gains the first of two bolts. The crux is getting to the second bolt but hard moves continue past the second bolt until a large plate is reached. Easier climbing leads to a mantle protected by small stoppers / brass. Two out of five stars.

Steep strenuous finger jamming on fairly good rock.  It faces east.

Difficult lieback/jam moves reach the very steep left-facing corner with a seam in the middle. Extremely technical and challenging palming and stemming moves go over a bulge to a lower angle section with a finger sized crack. Near the top the climb steepens before the anchors.

A steep face climb to the top of a small, free-standing pillar. The climbing isn't very noteworthy (gritty and runout) but the summit is very nice.

Start on 29 Palms and from the small ramp traverse right onto 39 Slaps and finish up the arete.

Start in the obvious short dihedral beneath 29 Palms (to the right of the flake layback start of 29 Palms). Move up and when the short dihedral disappears, pull around the arete to the right to join 39 Slaps; 2 more bolts lead to the shared anchor. This will need a bit of cleaning and a couple of bolts to make it a reasonable lead.

This is a small variation to another TR link-up called Palms Away. Both variations are better than the original, 39 Slaps.

This test piece climbs the high quality slab just left of 29 Palms.

Begin about 30 feet left of 29 Palms by stemming off a pinnacle in the chasm until you can make a committing move to attain a stance on the wall. Continue up the slab past 4 bolts.

Climbs the face/arete right of

on slightly crunchy holds. Perhaps worth a spin after doing the other routes on the formation.

Start from a small boulder on the right side of the base. The climb is an excellent exposed steep face. The 5.10b thin face at the top is runout.
