This route begins in a right facing dihedral and a high first clip. It is between the routes "TGIF", on the left, and “My Covid 19 Shelter” on the right. After the third bolt the route bears slightly right, ignoring TGIF, which is close by on the left. With the movie in mind, you just may feel like shouting "ELAINE!" when you reach the clip-in anchors.

C Is For Crumpecker

Robinson Crusoe

The title refers to Robinson Crusoe's companion, Friday. The route goes up the arete and, at times, seems somewhat squeezed between Crusoe and Mrs. Robinson.  The crux is a couple bolts up where you have to get over the bulge and you're looking for hands.  A little more difficult if you're short.

This left leaning route is near the left end of The Landing. Unlike the other routes, the crux here is near the top. The route has some good holds which are small. So if your hands are tiny you might like it - unless, of course , you are over 70 years old and weigh over 240. In that case, better stick to golf and tweeting.There is an interesting variation to this route worth trying on top rope (using the Tiny Hands anchor). Just left of the start up the first three bolts is a dihedral which is quite challenging. 

This route maintains a safe social distance from Mrs. Robinson on the left and Crumpecker on the right. Climb straight up to the massive orange hooks. The hardest moves occur in two places - near the start and later in the steep area above the first ledge.

This is just an alternate start to the route Quarantine Thyself.   It goes up a crack, 10 feet right of the original start to "Quarantine".  Once upon a time this crack was plugged with huge chock stones and tree roots.  Those have been removed. This new start to "Quarantine'' has two new bolts, after which it joins the original "Quarantine" route. 

This long route starts about 6 feet to the right of Crumpecker with a large tree shading the head wall up near the top. The first tree is clutching the rock 15 feet up and looms over the first crux. The second tree is near the top and provides shade for the second crux,  a right facing headwall. There is an eyebolt in this second tree which may help keep your rope out of the dirt  and gravel at the base of the headwall....

This short route is on the left end of the Landing. It starts between “Illegal smile” on the left and “Tiny Hands” farther right. It is pumpy and fun. You'll be glad there's a bomber left side pull at you're getting through the crux.  The climber may experience feelings of intense physical pleasure upon reaching its summit.

Need a bail bond or some used auto parts? See Mr. C in nearby Tiff, Missouri!  Otherwise, try this route. It starts by the beautiful left leaning crack that ends much too soon....

This route is named after an early pioneer in social distancing. His story was published 300 years ago!  The route starts on the left side of an arete. Mrs Robinson is around the corner on the right.  As usual, the hardest part is near the bottom

 As you round the corner approaching The Landing the first thing you'll notice is the beautiful belay area.  The routes are still a little dusty but are going to clean up and be new classics at Robinson. Go ahead and get on these and please remember to add your grade and star rating to Mountain Project.
