This is a single pitch of hand and finger work. Start in the easy hand crack and follow this to a ledge. Move right a bit to a bolt at the crux followed by sustained jam's.

P-1  .10b  75'  rap anchor

..... Great finger crack with lieback and stem moves, past 2 bolts up higher.

P-2  5.9  60'  rap anchor

..... Right of the anchor make a long reach into the thin crack to get small gear. Pull through the roof on large holds then up to a large ledge.

This is a fun long route with moderate difficulty and great position. The first two pitches have gear placements 20' apart but fairly easy climbing in between.

P-1  5.7 PG, 180'-200' depending on where you anchor.  Gear anchor

Climb through some overlaps and up to a steep section with knobs. Above this is a slab with a bolt near the lt. edge. The pitch finishes on a large ledge with a pine tree. Anchor at the edge or back at the tree.

P-2  5.7 PG, 190' Gear anchor

Pull through the overlap directly above the tree and onto a slab. You will see another pine tree above to the right. Continue on the slab to a bolt and into a rt. facing corner staying left of the tree. This will take you to the belay ledge. Be sure to protect the end of the corner so the second can't swing into the gully.

P-3  5.8  175' Gear anchor with one bolt

Rt. of the belay follow cracks up to the overlaps with 2 bolts. A bit further you will enter a lt. facing dihedral. At its end is a roof, move right at the roof (easier than it looks) up to another bolt and then the one bolt anchor and gear.

P-4  5.8  190' Gear anchor

Diagonal up and right to a large branch. Stand on this and make the crux move to easier ground. After 100', scramble up a scree gully to a large ledge.

Descent:

Just to the north of this ledge is a rap anchor. 95' rap to a large pine tree. Directly below this is another pine tree just 50' down. Use this if you have a 60 meter rope or 10' east of the tree is the anchor of East Crack (5.10).  A 70 meter rope will just reach North Gully  from the upper large tree.

Alternative Descent:

Head south around the corner and find your way through a maze of ledges to the lower ridge and back to the North Gully.

Traverse rt. on a ledge to the main lt. facing dihedral. Follow this to a ledge and step right to reach the roof. A strenuous move over the roof is followed by easier jams to the next roof. Move left to another ledge and finish with some face moves to the anchor.

You'll be slapping at the edge of this arete most of the way up. 9 bolts  to a rap anchor.

Begin in a chimney with a hidden finger crack upto a small ledge. From here it's mostly hand jams to the top. Double cracks get you to the dead tree and then into the upper slot. Good hand jams with double cracks go through the strenuous but excellent slot. A variation to the left halfway up is also 5.10 at the roof (gritty for the feet).  Rap anchor

P-1 5.9  100

'    Start below a small roof, then angle rt. to a lt. facing dihedral and up to a bolted anchor.

P-2 5.8  100

'    Follow cracks 10' rt. of the arete and begin to angle rt.to the obvious ramp. This goes to a small ledge with a one bolt and gear anchor.

P-3 5.10d  90'

Head up the main crack on nice jams to a final rest where the wall steepens. Harder jams get you to the crux protected by a bolt. Strenuous hand jams finish up to a ledge with a one bolt and gear anchor. Move lt. 10' to the rap anchor of Opticom with 3  90' raps to the ground.

P-1  5.7  200'   tree anchor

..... Start up a lt. facing corner to a pine tree and head up rt. in the gully/crack past one large tree and and anchor at the next large pine tree. The obvious visor is directly overhead.

P-2 5.10b  120'  bolt anchor

...... Drop down about 10' to the wide crack 5.8 and take this till it curves left to the visor. The 4" cam goes here. Move around the corner into sustained finger and hand jams, then layback up the final 10' to the large belay ledge. Rap from here down the top of the ridge... 95', 95', down gully 100' just shy of the start.

What this crack lacks in length makes up for in difficulty and quality. A short crack goes to a ledge. Move rt. on this to the main crack. Sustained finger and hand jams lead into a wide flare. Step rt. to large patina knobs then lt. to the anchor or continue up the flare
