The name is a result of the "branding" one of the first ascent party members got from a hot drill bit!

Easy going, over patina and plates past 4 kinda run out bolts brings you to the crux, a funky as heck move up onto the cap stone which crowns the Rattlesnake Buttress this climb is on.

The crux move is very well protected - make a clip, start the move, back off, think, start again, repeat. Really cool head game makes this seem much harder than it is!

Traverse in from the block at the base to climb the face above.

Start up a 2 bolt face, then to a chimney and finish on a crack to the anchors. Using the posterior wall makes the beginning much easier.

Climb the right side of the Rattlesnake Buttress face past 3 bolts and join Sun Your Buns at the cap stone crux.

This route is a lot of fun and much easier than Sun Your Buns to the left, but gets the same rating (5.9) due to the shared finishing move up onto the capstone.

A short finger crack that leads to the base of Hidden Treasures. Using the dihedral on the right makes it 5.7.

Start off the ground on an easy handcrack that leads up to an exciting mantle (crux) bringing you to easier ground for the rest of the climb. Like all the climbs in the area, the crux is well protected but the easier stuff can feel a bit run out.

Tons of fun!

Pumpy and sustained climbing up a slightly overhanging patinaed face past three bolts to chain finish. Groundfall potential is a very real threat if the leader is not solid at the grade, so bring your A game!

The route has been extended as of December, 2008 to include a very low angle slab finish that is arguably needless, but the new anchors are much more bomber than the original.

Starting from ground level and just left of a tree climb the thin and balancy vertical face to anchors on a ledge.

Start off the large ledge, clip the first bolt and figure out good feet to push up and past the crux over the small roof. Climb the easy patinas to the top, best to rappel off to save your rope some wear. Also be careful when pulling the ropes, it is very easy to get them stuck on the featured face.
