This climb is located in an alcove on the far right side of the East Buttress. Walk right around the corner from Out of the Forest to the obvious alcove with short overhanging walls. High Voltage climbs the obvious corner in the center of the alcove.  

  Make thin moves up the corner to a small roof. Make a funky and hard mantle onto the sloping ledge . Pull the next small roof with another funky mantle. Fire out the top crux moves to bigger holds and end at the ring anchor at the top of the corner. 

  This climb is short but packs a punch! Lots of movement of various styles!

Out of the Forest

This is a toprope project in the alcove on the right side of the East Buttress. The climb is located on the overhanging wall to the left of High Voltage.  

  Climb the crimpy face making big moves to horizontals. Big fun moves and it gets harder as you go. I put an anchor on the climb for all to work. Have at it! 

Start at a large left angling crack in a slab about 15' left of the corner start to Out of the Forest. 

  Climb the large crack to the tree ledge. Move left to the arete next to a maple tree clump. Climb the face/arete placing gear into a small right facing corner. Clip a bolt and exit the corner onto a foot ledge. Continue up the slab past a second bolt and a mild runout on easier terrain. Finish up a quartz dike in the headwall and finish at the pine tree (shared with Out of the Forest).

Start as the same as Out of the Forest, climb the crystals until youre on top of a ledge then break right until you are under a brown slab. Place gear and climb up on the brown slab and run it out until you are under a twin roof (crux).  Traverse right under the roof to gain a finger crack and then surmount the roof. Climb up to a large low angle slab then traverse way left and finish up a blocky arête. There is a strait up version at the top but it was done ground up and didnt have time to clean it on the lead, but it will be done.

Start the same as Chasing the Sun. Climb up to the small overlap. Pull the blocky overlap and move left to a bolt (bolts right are Chasing the Sun). Continue straight up past a second bolt and gain a right facing flake. Follow the flakes and slab to the left of the pine on the cliff to the trees on top. Belay from trees.

Climb a cleaned rib on the left to small ledges. Climb up and right crossing a slab (bolt) to a good crack up and right of a small bushy ledge. Step right and climb beautiful 5.8 face (crux) straight up passing two bolts to where the angle eases off before a 6 diameter spruce tree in the center of the face. Climb slightly left up shallow corners to the top (5.4). Belay at a small clump of maple trees at the top of the face.

Climb 10 to the top of the block under a small spruce tree. Step up and right to a big ledge and you are out of the forest. Step right and mantle (crux? well protected) to a second smaller ledge. Move left and up into the right facing corner that runs up into the center of the face. Climb the corner to where the angle of the face eases off. Continue straight to the top (5.4) staying just right of two small dwarf pine trees. Belay at the big Pine tree on the right.

The East Buttress of White Ledge is located high up and right of the main face and separated from it by a rubble filled gully and small blocky walls. This crag has a wonderful view and is sunny and warm late into the day. As with its neighbor, White Ledge, previous climbers have explored here but not recorded their climbs. A very strange old quarter inch bolt (circa 1970s?) was found a few feet from a good crack on the left side of the face with no indication of where (or if) the climb went from there.   

  The face is between 150 and 180 high from the wooded belay ledges but can be rappelled with single 60m rope. Rappel from a large Pine at the top, 50 to a small 6 diameter spruce tree in the center of the face, then to the ground.
