This is an alluring line from a distance, and a deceptive one when you are looking up from the base of it. The climbing demands steep slab skills, a calm heart on tenuous, low percentage smears, as well as, bizarre stemming which demands a loose interpretation of the laws of physics...

 A unique test piece that is also good training for the first pitch of PMT .12- on the Trundlers Club Buttress.

Nice line over the obvious arete on the Lower Beach face. Climbing is fun, with a clear crux on the slab just above the last bolt.

Dihedral, mixed route with one bolt at the bottom, one bolt at the top, small gear placements in between the bolts, and rap anchors.

Follow 3 bolts up & left to gain a very nice thin hands splitter.

Start on a sandy slab into a  semi-awkward flare over a bulge. Stem, shimmey, and skum up the open book with good rests.  Semi-portable edges on the right side help progress upwards.  Then, jam up the fun .75/1 sized crack, which after 15' opens up to a wider, easy section to the anchors.

The cliffs directly above The Planetarium.  Some nice trad lines and a couple sport routes also.  Stays sunny in the afternoon.
