This route is tough right off the ground. I had to setup a toprope from the route just to the right (5.7 Hubcap). As far as I could tell, hang-dogging my way up it, Belly Dancer has 3 crux moves, right off the deck.

I felt like it naturally climbs to the left of the bolt line. Some steep moves on not so obvious holds before wrapping back onto the face and up to the anchors.

A surprisingly floppy start on huge positive holds to an upper crux right by the third bolt. Take a moment to search around. Either pull thin moves on sharp holds (closer to 10-) or find the hidden positive holds (5.9). One last burley move to the anchors to sweeten the deal. Best to clip the first bolt before starting up. A tumble down the hill would be hardly enjoyable.

REALLY tough face climbing start to easier climbing above. Is it possible that a hold popped off at the bottom?

This is a great warm-up and a good way for getting the feel of the rock and moves at the Powerline Crag. Its a solid 5.7, but short.

Face climbing with solid hand and footholds. The final move to the lowering anchors is the crux and will take a bit of thought.

Nice, chill romp on excellent rock. A nice option for a burgeoning leader.

Easy climbing with the crux at the top in the chimney.

Delicate moves through the start bulge to rest jugs and easy slab to the steep finish. Find the positive holds for a solid clip before pulling a satisfying roof move. There's a climb immediately to the left and another climb just to the right on the opposite face. Both look 5.9 to 10- ish. 

Fun and consistent face climbing with good hands and feet throughout.

Face climbing with the crux near the roof at the top. Getting over the roof is way fun, with good hand holds.

Really tough start followed by tough face climbing. We thought this was route was tougher than the grade. Some broken holds perhaps?

Lots of cool 5.8 moves up this right-leaning route. A lead-fall before the 2nd bolt would kind of suck on this one, but there are plenty of good holds.

A couple slightly tricky moves off a large start ledge takes you past a chill slab to a mini roof dihedral with a deceptively enticing crack. Don't tunnel vision!Especially if missing the good holds, clipping bolt 4 would be stressful and a fall between bolt 3 and 4 would be unpleasant.

Don't let the name mislead you, it's worth a spin! Similar to the climb just to the left. Slightly tricky getting off to the second crux bulge. 

Really cool overhang a few climbs right of glens fave..Starts on 2 finger pockets than leads into a cool knee bar/bycicle to get the 3rd bolt

This is one of the longer routes on the Powerline Crag. Its a great route for the grade because it includes all elements of fun good climbing: strength and technique, jugs and crimps, etc..

Really enjoyable face climb on good rock with big, fun moves throughout.

The Powerline Crag is a heavily forested limestone wall. The routes here are primarily short (30') sport routes with generous bolts and bolted anchors. The wall faces South and when you aren't climbing you can enjoy nice views of the Blue Ridge Reservoir
