Extending the first few draws may help reduce rope drag.

A great bucket and edges with good feet will get you to the high first bolt. Well-protected cruxy climbing with good feet but very reachy hand holds gets you up to C2. At C3, move up and left with the usual Rifle sidepulls, edges, and pinches to C5. Another crux climbs up to and past C6 to a blocky ledge out right. Climb up on sustained climbing with some nice holds out left and tricky feet to the chains with fixed biners on them.

, and continue up the face.

This is a quality moderate that should become a popular route as one of the easiest routes in Rifle.

Good climbing on mostly big holds make this an enjoyable and attainable moderate. The hardest moves may be just getting off the ground. At mid-height, you can stay slightly right of the arete or you can move left and climb on the low angle arete. All throughout this section there are huge holds and secure clipping stances. A slightly challenging section where the big holds run out at the top guard the chains.

Crisp laybacks lead to a crux before more laybacks lead you to the chains.

Michael and Rachel McGee have contributed a lot of lines to Rifle. I think this might be their best.

Feline is a line thats hard to miss.  It's just upstream a ways from

Merry Maids

, the huge, left-facing dihedral.  If you're on the Ice Caves side of the stream, follow the path upstream from

Merry Maids

for about 60 yards (past the tiny cave) and you will see a dim fork in the trail, take it up left and there you are.  You can also wade across the stream at a pullout just up the road from the bridge, or you can walk downstream from the Bauhaus.  Either way, the route is distinct and long with big, long blocks protruding out.  Scramble up the the start and get gunnin'.  This route is super fun with huge no hands rests in places.  Milk the rests, and you will send.  The moves are great and challenging between the rests. Big, blocky sidepulls lead to places to shake out and clip.  The route is super well-protected and the climbing is never desperate.  Enjoy!

Begin with left-trending climbing past 3 clips to a stance. Climb straight up past several clips below the final vertical section. Do some sustained moves, a bit of juggy hollow rock, and then cruxy moves to the chains.

Start under the high first clip. Climb up the short corner through a sustained start with some reachy holds and tricky feet to C1.  Move past C1 and then left with much better holds to C2. Continue straight up the dihedral with steeper rock on great holds through C4 and then to the anchors.
