Somewhat contrived, but decent short chimney gets you through a tight squeeze/exit to the short face above.

Climb the steepish blocky face just right of Power Squeeze. A few good moves on big holds low down lead to standard fare getting to the anchors.

Fun steep climbing through some unique features.

A couple thin moves in a few spots on this route. This route climbs the sunny, south facing slabs on the south side of the west Hideout. Only 5.9 if you are taller than 5'8", either way the crux moves are well-protected.

Steep sustained climbing on good rock. Quite sporty and unfortunately short!

Established ground-up, this route ascends a series of isolated red plates. Lots of good holds, but beware of some lingering looseness.

This route is not listed in Bishop Area Rock Climbs 2008.

This route is located on the next rock left of Snowball. Name of route and FA party unknown at this time.

Established using non-replaceable wedge-style construction bolts. We found a quicklink at the chains so small I could bend it by hand when open!? Replaced it with a standard 5/16" quicklink and added replaceable links for rapping/lowering.

Listed as 5.8 in Bishop Area Rock Climbs 2008. You could climb the route at 5.8, but easier moves exist.

Located to the right of Powerplay, enjoyable face climbing leads past 4 bolts to a 2-bolt anchor.

Located just to the right of Snowball, a single, tough entry move over the roof leads to enjoyable easy face climbing to the Snowball anchors.

Burley ugly good from start to finish!

Sharp, grainy, steeper than it looks goodness for all you grain wrestlers out there!

On the south side of the West Hideout rocks, start up a slabby boulder leading to a roof.  This route surmounts the roof on the right side, and continues up the face above to the anchors (Shuts in December 2008.)  turning the roof is the crux.

Start up a low angle slab to the right of Booty Pageant. For inexperienced leaders, a #2 camalot-sized cam is recommended to protect the moves to the first bolt. The steep slab move BEFORE getting to the roof is the crux... the rest of the route is just plain fun, as long as you don't fall doing the step-through. Some loose rock and grainy holds can be expected, this is a new 'Bama Hills route.  Enjoy.
