Low angle route with a crux getting over the first bulge.  Easier climbing leads over a second, smaller bulge and then meets up with the last three bolts of Geisha Knife Fight.

Cool rock, but very sharp and not very sustained.

This route is located on the right side of the Sumo-esque face. A pretty engaging route through the first 4 bolts will lead you into an easier slab getting to the chains. This route like all the routes on this cliff is pretty prickly.

This route does not have rap rings!!! It's just two oversized bolts that you should not be lowered from. You could either rappel(we all do that anyway right?...umm no, we don't), or climb 2 more bolts up and to the right to the anchor of Nipple Extractor which does have rap rings for lowering.

Starts on blocks high on the right side of the wall, climbs through a scoop, and continues up the sharp slab to anchors below the headwall.

One of the better 10's on the wall.  Just left of Cheeks.  Vertical start on through some painful holds, gives way fun slabby middle section, then pull upper bulge on good sharp pockets. Goes clear to the top (85'). Nine bolts to two bolt anchor.  Can bail before the upper bulge by heading right to Cheeks of Chong's anchors.

A decent route with a great start, a tricky middle and an easy finish on suspect rock.

From the ledge, easy edges lead to a shouldery crux in a shallow, slightly overhanging dihedral.  Pull onto the almost vertical middle section using good holds and grab a no-hands rest below the second crux.  Traverse slightly right and then move back left to a good sidepull jug.  Follow jugs over a final bulge and then enjoy generous flakes to the top.

First 2/3 of the route is not as sharp as the rest of the routes on this wall.

This is the easiest route on the Sumo Wall.  The crux is getting off the ground on a steep slab with some slopey holds.  After the first bolt the climbing eases up to about 5.6 for the rest of the route following sharp pockets and runnels.

A fun two move wonder.  Start on the right side of the cave/sumo's mouth.  Climb ramp up to second bolt.  Stem wide and pull the first hard move to get to the left angling rail above the cave.  Hand over hand across the rail until you can insert yourself into the sumo's nostril and cop a rest. One more hard reachy move past the forth/fifth bolt gains a ledge, then fun 5.9 pockets to the top.  A little less sharp than some of the other routes.

Furthest route to the right.  Start on slanting blocks below an angling crack. Climb pockets in a slab past 6 bolts to two bolt anchor. Crux down low.

By far, the sharpest route at the Sumo Wall.

Start up a small flake leaning against the wall.  Then step right and move up prickly, vertical, brown stone using funky edges, and pockets that diminish as you go higher.  Eventually, the angle slabs out, the rock turns grey, and the "holds" can be likened to grabbing broken glass.  Teeter past a definite crux a mid-height using tiny feet, and scant features to some much needed edges that lead to a huge hueco.

Follow seams and jugs up a long, slabby headwall on slightly deteriorating rock.

Bring your good shoes and some fresh skin.  A good one if you are looking for some type 2 fun.
