This route seems harder and headier than it should for the grade.  Bolts feel like they are placed in the middle of cruxes.

Hungry Hungry Hippos

Fun slab climb that uses the left side of the cave.  Run-out between bolts 3 and 4 on easier terrain.  A good mental test for the grade.  

Dihedral climb with crux up high in the pockety section. 

Climb the huge flake on the right side of the wall, stand on it and climb to the top.  Belayer beware!  The right side is not a place to congregate under this flake.  While it has been climbed many times, be mindful of the rope as you lead so as not to get it caught behind the flake and be mindful of where you stand in relation to the flake.  Be mindful as you lower so as not to allow the rope behind the flake.  Rock quality down low is chossy and feet may blow going to bolt 1.  

Belay from the ground.  Slab climbing with a low bulging dihedral start (crux). Line of bolts 5 to 7 ft left of big cave.  

Really fun route with a low crux at bolt 1.  Balance and foot work makes this feel much easier than the original topo grade of 5.10- compared to other routes on the ranch.  Climb is cruxy until the cave, where you get a nice rest and moderate climbing to the end.

A low crux mantle and a few more thoughtful slabby moves give way to more moderate climbing above.

Belay from the boulder, left most climb on the main Candy Land Wall.  Well protected slab climb with a a loose horizontal flake between bolts 3 and 4.  Pull down not out!  Can be easily avoided.  

Candy Land is a popular warm up area with technical slabs and anchors easily accessible from the top.  Delicate footwork makes these climbs more thoughtful than strenuous.   Candy Land gets morning shade and has 5 main routes with 2 auxiliary routes on the left side of the boulder field.  Don't miss the ground school anchors on your way to the wall on a boulder just to the left as you approach the wall from The Butt.
