Work up past 3 bolts via the arete or directly up the crack type feature. Pull the roof, and sink a cam on the right. Clip the next bolt, and pull a long move past the overlap. Work up following bolts with another cam placement before the anchor.

"Crowtein"

is a wild, dynamic ride of a route and one of the more steeper routes in the entire South Platte.

Stickclip the low chain draw (the first bolt under the roof helps for the belayer whilst figuring out the move), and begin the fight.

A large entrance move get you to a jug where an incredibly core intensive boulder problem awaits (clocks in around

V8

). Gain the jugs above the chain, and surf left with some easier climbing to a stand-able ledge.

Leaving the ledge lies another cryptic and incredibly dynamic boulder problem (

V7

). This is stylistic of something you'd find on southern sandstone. Clip the chain draw, and cruise easier moves/holds up the tiered roof finish.

Top out the cliff for full value, and scramble down the chimney to the east!

This is a fun, bouldery line in a beautiful setting with tons of exposure to boot up high.

*A stickclip is recommended.

Start low with a boulder problem that can be done a few different ways. All involve some stretchy movement and stemming.

Mantel up into the alcove, then pull a small roof, and traverse right on good holds. Steep 5.11 jug terrain lies ahead on impeccable stone.

This is a fun route with quality movement in a serene setting.

Traverse up and right on some loose looking blocks to the first bolt. Go straight up through the right side of the roof to gain the next bolt and overhanging wall. Juggy face holds and cracks lead to the top.

Start off of the boulder below & left of the first bolt. Make a reachy clip at the first bolt, and continue up to the ledge below the second bolt, placing a couple cams along the way. Get a rest here, and then keep cranking up the steep wall with flawless stone and technical moves as the pump builds.

EDIT: I added 1 bolt to the direct start which is definitely the way to do this thing. Adds a few .10+ moves up to the ledge before the second bolt. There are two places for gear between bolts 1 and 2 which are easily scoped from the ground.

Clip a bolt off of the big boulder and continue on to the striking finger & thin hand crack with bomber gear. When the juggy face holds and crack end, face climb past two bolts to the anchor.

Find the striking finger crack starting way down low on the right side of the wall. Climb the finger  crack to a ledgy section and a rest. Launch up the steep, intermittent crack systems & patina with tricky and pumpy gear placements. This is an amazing trad route if you have the guns!

Climb an arete past the second bolt, then traverse right, and put your cam in a hand crack. Go up past bolts to the chain anchors.

Phoenix Lite is every wannabe hardman’s favorite (fictional) lite beer.

Begin on perched boulder, then execute a classy mantel.  Now you’re cruising through steeper terrain on great holds. Crimp it through the granite wave, and then crack a cold one.
