This is a fantastic route that goes through two roofs with a slab in between. It is spicy and thoughtful for the onsight.

Climb the beautiful and steep (sometimes powerful), right-trending weakness to mid point on the wall. Use caution when passing some stacked blocks at around bolt(s) 3 or 4. dihedral) to the arete are followed by some steep slabbing for 30+ feet to the chains. Continuous and really, really fun. Very well protected. One of the best routes of its grade on The Pass!

Where the trail meets first meets Difficult Cliff are a selection of trad routes. The first route on the left is "

Mosquito Banquet

", a nice route with a bit of offwidth that goes at 10a.

The next line to the right is a Y-shaped crack, both variations being 5.12.

The next line right is "The Product", Old school 10d.

This has great climbing from bottom to top! While maybe not a distinct crux, stepping left under/around the big roof will often get your heartrate up a beat or two. The upper section is as fun as it looks!

This was rated .10 a in the guidebook back in 1972. Haha.

You get great jamming with some body English.

Climb the crack system 10 feet left of the “

” start. Climb hands to fingers through a small bulge. Then move into an amazing boulder problem with pinches and crux slopers. Bust right at second horizontal. Follow a finger crack for 5 feet, then finish with the upper crux of the “

”. This definitely took some elbow grease/cleaning to make it a fun route! This was Northwest style cleaning of dirt, moss, and choss!

Bird's Nest is a great route with jamming and stemming along with a thin traverse.

Go up the dihedral, and exit left at the roof to the anchors.

Scramble up broken terrain towards the slot/chimney. Going over the chockstone will keep the rope free. This is PG-13 as the chimney is difficult to protect.

Climb the right side of the Y crack. There are two bolts up high. This is an excellent route!

At the left end of Difficult Wall is a long, flaring corner.  Climb up this corner using a variety of techniques.  The original route, called Pipeline, exited left at the top of the flare.  Keep the amplitude high by stepping right into an overhanging corner.

Amos had great vision with this power packed, mixed route on the far left side of the Difficult West Crag! It was named after Amos’ 6 year old son Caspian spitting out his PB&J sandwich made with spicy jalapeño jelly by his climbing fanatic dad in a rush.

Start 7 feet left of  “

” on the arete. Power up steep, arete flake feature with hand-sized pro. Clip a bolt above crack/flare. Transition into a very powerful bear hug boulder problem. Above second bolt, head right, and finish on “
