A good warm-up for newbies.  Can be tricky at the top.

A very good beginner's route.  Also good for a newbie's first lead, as well as good "multipitch" practice.

I've never climbed this one; including it for completeness sake.  The last of the routes starting on the large ledge.  Right side.

The easiest route in Peterskill.  Very good for nervous beginners.  Do not top out; stop at the last ledge, at the pine tree (build anchor to come to that point).

The other route that uses the bolts on top, Night Owl (a.k.a. Bunk Face) is slightly less intimidating than Bunk Arete.  Still solid 5.6 moves, though.

A very heady 5.6, with lots of exposure.  I wish it were longer.

Hardest route on this face; very balancy and thin on the upper sections (crux).

Never climbed this one; included it for completeness sake.  The route itself is VERY short, there doesn't appear to be much gear, and building an anchor on top is very difficult without long pieces of static line/webbing.

The only wall visible from the parking lot, and the first to dry after a rain.  Exposed rock, windy routes, shaded and reasonably protected belay area.  A favorite area for guides and groups, as it has one of the few double-bolted anchors in the park and a good mix of route levels in close proximity. 

  Update:   There is a new set of bolts for anchors at the top of the cliff; they are centered over the route "Slumber Party".
