A fun route through very solid red rock with shallow dishes and edgy climbing.  This route is a little sharp through the middle.

Shallow pockets through good rock. Slightly run out from the last bolt to the chains.  We plan on adding a bolt soon.

Really fun face for beginners or for a one handed/no handed challenge.  The face has tons of fossils on it.

Pocket climbing at the start turns into to thin slaby climbing that requires good footwork, leads to a sweet heel hook at the roof.

Start right of the bolt line on a positive ledge/flake. Continue up on small pockets and edges, meandering to the left of the bolt line and then right and back to the left. You can cop an optional rest in a shallow cave feature at 3/4 height or power straight up.  The crux will be stepping out of the cave.  Fun move.

Sustained, straight forward, thin edging all the way up. This route is solid for the grade.

Sharp lay away moves through a seam feature, lead to awkward climbing at the top.

Thin vertical climbing through side pulls, dishes and positive edges lead to a moderate roof. There are a set of hangers at the very top of this cliff that can be used for a TR.  They are just off the edge but there is a large boulder that can easily be slung for protection.  The last 20 feet of this cliff band is complete choss and that's why the routes end before the top.

A little wider than hands, flaring crack to a small overhang with a bolt.  Rap Anchors are midway up the second tier, chunky band of rock.  This route does not go to the top.  I bolted this thing and was prepared to get the FA and Matt swooped in while I was working in Flagstaff, and with zero remorse, pilfered it from me. With friends like him, who needs enemies. Hence the name Swoop.

The movement on this one is pleasant but the rock is sharp and unpleasant. I put the first bolt on this one rather high to, like John Long said, "to keep the riff raff off". Many years have gone by and now I have become the riff raff. I was going to reto fit it with a shiny new bolt but then I had second thoughts; I decided to leave this one in its original state as a remnant of a days gone by. Something for the salty ones that are still out there.
