Start in a little left-facing corner about 15 feet right of Toxic Waltz. Follow the crack system until it peters out, then easy face climbing leads to the top of the small buttress.The crux is the starting corner.

Small holds edging/friction leads past 4 bolts.  The climbing isn't all that bad, it's just a little on the short side.  It would be more memorable if it were longer.

At the top of the pitch, instead of moving right to finish on Sensuous Corner, move a bit left and climb staright up the arete to the top.

This face route has a serious runout above the first bolt.  To descend, rappel 90 feet from an anchor at the left end of the ledge.  It is in the sun all day.

The Fiend is a quality thin face route.  When the rock exfoliated, it left a few long, 1/2 inch wide edges that you can use for traverses.  A 20 foot runout up to the first bolt is quite scary - the runouts above are milder.  Rappel 90 feet from a two bolt anchor on a ledge at the top.  This climb is in the sun all day.

This climb is quite memorable.  The crux first pitch starts easy, but then moves up onto a steep arete.  Exposed stemming and side pulls take you up to a belay ledge.  An easy second pitch leads to the top, and you can walk off.

Not really a new route so much as a link-up of two existing classics (

Mickey Mantle

and

The Fiend

), but it's also the easiest face route to the top of the wall. It wouldn't surprise me if this has been done before, but I've never seen or heard of it anywhere.

at it's 3rd bolt, and then follow that route to the top. A harder and better protected variation can be done by heading left a little more after the 3rd bolt and clipping one more bolt for the 5.9 finish of The Fiend.

This is perhaps the best route on the Smooth Soul Wall.  It has mantles, edges, friction, and a novel traverse, all on excellent rock.  With only three bolts and fairly sustained climbing, there are substantial runouts.  Rappel 90 feet from a ledge at the end of the route (or continue up with an easy second pitch and walk off).  It is in the sun all day.

A flake (5.8) near the bottom is a bit loose, but the rock on the rest of this face climb is excellent.  The climbing up the initial flake is poorly protected.  The crux move is right by a bolt.  Higher up is a very runout 5.9 move, where a fall would be serious.  The ledge at the top has a bolted anchor at its left end, allowing a 90 foot rappel back to the ground.  This climb is in the sun all day.

This climb is on the far right side of the Smooth Sole Wall, on a small buttress located just above where the approach trail tunnels under a large boulder.

Tango is a 5 bolt slab just left of

Toxic Waltz

. The crux is getting to the second bolt.

Begin at the very bottom right-hand side of the main cliff. Climb the smooth slab just right of Pink Royd, ending on the right shoulder about half way up the face.

This deep, prominent chimney divides the Smooth Soul Wall into two roughly equal parts.  A short, awkward crack (crux) leads to a long, wide, fun, easy chimney.  The crux is well protected.  Walk off from the top.

Despite the name, I found the protection to be reasonably good on this thin face route.  To descend, rappel 90 feet from a ledge.  It is in the sun all day.

This is a terrific thin face climb, with three crux sections.  The moves are quite varied.  The start (15 or 20 feet up to the first bolt) is shared with The Fiend, and has the only scary runout of the route.  This climb is in the sun all day.
