The crux is the summit pinnacle. Pretty good rock for an Oregon peak.

West Ridge

Partly Void, Mostly Stars

Lots of big blocks all over, generally great hands with good feet. Slightly overhung in places, and the spice from the exposure is real.

 Lots of cracks for pro all over, and if you take the class 4 to the summit you can easily set up a toprope. You'll need to construct your own anchor, there are no bolts.

 If you lead this, the belayer may also want to place pro as they'll be within 3 feet of a 1500' cliff.

I'm surprised this hasn't been submitted already. The lightning rod of the Cascades. Located a few miles north of Crater Lake. Pretty good route. Definitely worth a visit if traveling through Central Oregon.
